Yoyo (AKA Yolinde Magill) is a born & bred kiwi chick -a rare breed in the ski industry! She grew up skiing at Cardrona and loved it so much that she became an instructor whilst still at school.

Yoyo became an examiner in 2003 when doing seasons between Queenstown, Switzerland, Canada, & the USA.

In 2007 Yoyo came back to Cardrona where she is the Manager of Instructor Training Centre (ITC).
Yoyo is the NZSIA Northern Hemisphere Ski Manager, managing the growing overseas courses for the NZSIA in locations such as China, Switzerland, and Japan. She was a selector for the NZSIA Technical Team, the NZSIA Demo Team, plus is on the NZSIA Ski Committee.

Ultimately, she considers herself very fortunate to be livin’ the dream, and helping others into an industry she’s super passionate about – who could ask for more?!

In this video, Richie Johnston checks in with Yoyo and chats about the upcoming Interski Congress in Levi Finland.
