Great blog post and I do believe in making sure that children are kitted out with proper kids ski clothing as they can easily get cold, wet and uncomfortable if the clothing is not suitable for ski conditions.

My dream is to move to NZ and teach little kids how to snowboard i have snowboarded for 4 years now and i have gotten very good. Snow boarding is my calling i know this because of how good i got at it as fast as i did. My other dream is to join the peach core so i will volunteer do what ever it takes to make my dream come true.

To Simon and Fi, Cheers for your support about the indoor lecture, your right it was rather nervewracking Fi but once I got going you begin to feel alittle more confident. It was a great challange for me and I’m glad I took it on board. ……….I reply to Awakino: I’m was under the belief that the invincibles was only accessed by helicopter on a charter base only.In my personal opinion, I’m a firm believer that if you cant rock up and buy a day ticket to ski then your not going to be counted as a ski area. Should we include all the southern alps then? Helicopter accessed!

Hi Scolesy.

Garlands banned?? I think you have been mis informed. They have always been there for you to use them if you desire. They certainly have never been banned. At the moment they are not in the Central Theme but are there alongside it as extra activities. The reason they are currently not in the Central Theme is because the Level 1 has been changed somewhat so it can encompass Snowdomes and Dry Slopes. The feedback that we had from Trainers delivering at these venues was that it is rare to be able to perform them proggresively due to the severe lack of space (width of slope) and lots of other slope users. I also am slightly miffed about your comment “now that we have embraced twist”. It has been part of our system ever since it began. Its just that we use different terminology and not the word twist. See above.
